At Svängsta the landscape changes character from woodland to open countryside. The countryside along the coast is the lowest stage in Blekinge. The port and market town of Karlshamn was founded in 1664. It was in Karlshamn that Kristina from Duvemåla and her Karl Oskar (from the novels by Vilhelm Moberg) boarded the brig Charlotta, which took them across the Atlantic to America. The Emigrant Monument in the Harbour Park has been erected in memory of those who emigrated from Sweden. In the harbour there is a maritime museum. Mörrum is the centre of the river’s famous salmon fishery which has been well known since the thirteenth century. Continue cycling towards the villages of Mörrum and Norje. By the time you reach Norje you are actually located in the very middle of Sydostleden trail, this is where you find the halfway point. In the city of Sölvesborg the trail takes you over the 760 meter long Sölvesborg Bridge, which connects Listerlandet with the town, is Europe’s longest pedestrian and bicycle bridge. In the area around the main square, Stortorget you will find many shops, restaurants and cafés.

In the nature reserve Halen you can experience a forest and lake-dominated "wilderness" within walking distance of Olofströms and Jämshög's urban areas. A trail race in beautiful greenery along Blekinge's largest river, Mörrum River. On May 26, the third edition of the Blekinge River Trail, with arena in Mörrum, will be held. If you were not supposed to fancy trail race before, you are guaranteed it afterwards! In the Blekinge River Trail you choose between 9.5 or 20 km and for the children there is a "River kids" of 500 meters. A tough news is a Ultra River, a class for those who want to challenge themselves properly with a track length of about 50 km (which has extra energy stations) - Ultra River! The race has quickly become popular and attracted over 400 starters last year. The path starts along the western side of the river and then returns to the opposite side. The long track takes you all the way up to Svängsta before it turns home. The Blekinge River Trail fits both the habitual trail runner and the beginner. Prices for the top three in each class. Price to everyone in River Kids. In addition, prizes are awarded among completed participants. All participants are offered burgers with a drink after the finish. For those with food allergies there are other alternatives, stated on the notification. Shower, dressing and toilet are located adjacent to the competition site.

The old railway embankment trail unites Halmstad's and Karlshamn's attractive coastal areas, takes you through varied landscapes and follows Fylle river up through the Simlångs valley, passing the beautiful lakes Bolmen and Åsnen and ending with a long distance along the Mörrum river - one of the world's leading salmon fishing waters.The trail, which is about 250 km, passes about 40 old railway station environments, all more or less intact. The railway embankment trail has become an all-activity trail - for wheelchair users, horseriders (on certain routes), roller-skiers, hikers, inliners, regular skiers in winter - and of course cyclists. Along the trail there are hotels, hostels, campsites and holiday villages. Provisions are available in every major community and it is possible to rent bicycles in several places. You will pass many attractions + suggestions for return bike trips. The small roads of the trails have a good standard, almost everyone is paved. The embankment is also paved a few miles at each end towards Halmstad and Karlshamn respectively. Otherwise, the embankment consists of good gravel roads. You can use any bike you want along the trail, but most comfortable is a model with fairly wide tires. The embankment trail isn´t almost at all hilly and lies beautifully in the terrain.

The snorkeling trail is an "underwater path" with information plates on the bottom that can be read from the surface and is situated at Kollevik bathing area in Karlshamn. The idea of the snorkeling trail is to pay attention to the marine ecosystems and increase the interest in life below the surface. The snorkeling trail goes through various marine landscapes such as sand and rock bottom. The information is easy to understand and describes the most common species outside Blekinge's coast, but also large-scale Baltic sea problems such as eutrophication, boat bottom paints and overfishing. The trail is divided into simpler parts in shallow water and a slightly more difficult part on deeper water, however, max. 3 meters. The proximity to the beach makes it possible to interrupt the snorkeling whenever you want. Children should snorkel in the company of an adult. . Kolleviks Campsite rents sets with snorkel, cyclop and flippers (25 SEK/hour).

There are many opportunities for walking, cycling, and exercise in Brunnsparken and Brunnsskogen (the forrest). On the cocluding 18th hole follows Sölvesborgs bay and the view towards Sölvesborgs city.

A unique porcelain exhibition in the former premises om Karlskrona Porcelain factory. In the exhibition you can see the production from 1918-1968. In 1942, the factory was purchased by Uppsala-Ekeby AB. In conjunction with the new employees, the share value was increased and the factory also got new and more artistic leaders. The factory's golden years were during the 1950s when they exported a lot of products, this had been done in the 1930s too, but because of the Second World War it was a break. As the standard of living and consumption increased during the 1950s, production on porcelain also increased, which also contributed to the golden age of porcelain. Season open.
