Mooney Grove Park and Museum

The first county park in the State of California, Mooney Grove was established in 1909 to protect the grove of oak trees for future generations. Nestled in this beautiful park is the Tulare County Museum, just one of the attractions that visitors can experience while enjoying this unique green space. Sequoia Shuttle

The Sequoia Shuttle, operates all summer long and is the perfect way for visitors to get to Sequoia National Park from Visalia, CA. The shuttle departs from most Visalia hotels several times a day, seven days a week from May to September for the trip into the park. Each 16-passenger shuttle is wheelchair accessible, features comfortable seats, luggage space, and an informative video during the trip. Reservations are required and includes park entry fee. Once inside the park, visitors take advantage of unlimited in-park bus service to all the parks major attractions like Moro Rock and the General Sherman Tree. The in-park are completely ticketless, so simply hop on and off at any stop. At the end of the day, the Sequoia Shuttle will return riders back to their hotel.

Newly renovated fine art galleries in 2017. Kings Canyon National Park

A national park favorite for many national park lovers, Kings Canyon is treasured for its less-traveled serene stretches of unbelievable and widely varied landscapes, with giant sequoias, crystal clear waters, green meadows, steep cliffs, and not to mention arguably the deepest canyon in the nation. Modesto Nuts

The Modesto Nuts are a minor league Class A advanced baseball team in the California League and a farm team of the Seattle Mariners. Modesto Nuts play home games at John Thurman field. The Nuts won the California League championship for 2017, sweeping both the Division Series and the League Series and winning nine games in a row dating back to the last three games of the regular season. The Nuts provide great baseball and great family entertainment, with many fan favorite promotions at the ball park. Friday and Saturday home games include a fireworks extravaganza.
